She likes to pull out her hair bows like did when you were little. She likes playing peek a boo, but what she really likes to do is pull off my glasses. I miss you. Talk to you tonight. ReplyDeleteIt seems like just yesterday that you came running into the library announcing It's a Girl! Then it seemed like an eternity waiting for Aliette to arrive! And now, I'm just smiling and crying as I look at the photos of your beautiful second daughter. Olivia will be so excited to hold her and rock her. My parents filmed me as I met my baby brother for the first time. They sat me in a rocker and handed me "my new baby" and I sang Rockabye Baby to him. The reason I say that is because it remains my favorite home movie (even though it was, in those days, silent...but you can read my lips!). I hope somebody can capture Olivia's introduction to her new sister. It's a priceless moment thta you have to look forward to.

Rachael used to pull my glasses off ALL the time. I broke down and got contacts. Much easier. Plus, even if she didn't pull them off they were always covered with her fingerprints : ) ......... Dianne
