Sorry, Grandma we didn't get any photos with you boo, hoo. Thank you for coming. Olivia loved everything about NYC. She enjoyed riding on the train and taxi. She explored the 3 floors of the American girl and thought getting her picture taken with IVY in the studio was the best. I'll scan that picture tomorrow. I only have the 5x7 with me. Olivia and Ivy were dressed for Christmas and the other shoppers were impressed. We enjoyed our three course lunch at the cafe. I would recommend it for any young girl. We visited Rockefeller Center, the M&M store, and Lego store. The temperatures were around 25 degrees, but the wind chill made it way cold. Olivia and I were battling a stomach bug, so we decided to head home around 3:30pm, but we had a full day of fun! This was one of those days I hope she will remember forever. Thanks again for going with us Mom. Your presence really made it special.

Email Hacked
I would just like to let you all know that I am fine and I do not need any money. There was a security problem at msn and my account was hacked. Please disregard any strange emails. Right now I have no access to my account and will be getting a new one once this is resolved. Sorry for any worry this may have caused you.
Sincerely,
Nikki Pivovar

Pumpkin Patch
A Day at the Zoo
It was a perfect and warm day for an outing at the zoo. Aliette enjoyed the petting zoo and Olivia loved going in and out of the corn maze.

The Big Day has arrived
For me the happiest days in my life was when I learned I was matched with my children. After all the paperwork, this was it, they were no longer a dream, but a face that I could pray for and stare at. I was very happy when they were placed in my arms, but getting that photo, really made it REAL. Today, was a close second. After 7 months of phone calls and paper work, Aliette's adoption is FINALIZED. She assumes my name and has found her forever family. Aliette's adoption has been far from typical and normal, everything has been unique, needing special attention, which I guess makes it that much sweeter.
Aliette's earlier arrival really took me my surprise, but I kept putting one foot in front of the other and held the course. In an email to a friend I was explaining how her health problems, have kept running from one doctor to the next, but it has been a blessing. We've had the time to bond and I've removed everything from my plate that isn't critical. I've had time to play hopscotch, finger paint, and roll down hills. I have never been happier in my life.
Olivia was very excited about going to see the judge. She is just beginning to ask questions about her adoption and can begin to explain to others what this is all about. She will be with me for 4 years on September 18! Guess where she wants to go for her special dinner? McDonald's of course. I'm pushing for Chinese, but I don't think my vote counts. My entire family gathered at Friendly's to celebrate tonight. God is so Good. Tonight the angels are shouting or joy and dancing. I feel so blessed to be the mother of two of God's children. Enjoy the photos.

Finally, dinosaurs and stars
Kindergarten
Today was Olivia's 1st day of Kindergarten. She began with a photo opt with the school mascot, then went on a classroom scavenger hunt locating all the important things in the classroom, only to be followed by a story and coloring activity. Did I mention, she was only in Kindergarten for 1 hour with me. Leaving school on the 1st day of school was difficult, but there is only one 1st day of school, so I managed. She loves her new teacher and her new friends. Aliette has moved to the toddler room, since she is walking and needing more play time. We go to court next week to finalize the adoption, I can't wait. Lots of pictures for that glorious day. Enjoy the pictures.
